What counts as a source

An amount enters the site only when it was read on the licensing board's own page, on its fee rule in the state administrative code or statutes, or in the candidate handbook of the exam vendor the board names. For each amount we keep the address of the page and a short quotation of the line that shows it, so that anyone can check it. Schools, course sellers and license guides are read to see what applicants ask, never to take a number.

How a total reaches a page

No total is typed into the text. A script reads the quoted amounts, applies a written reading of each state (which exam replaces which, which fee is optional, which is a retake) and writes one table; every page computes its figures from that table when the site is built. A state where one required fee could not be read is shown as not priced for that license rather than given a partial total.

What the site does not say

It does not say that a school is good, that an exam is easy or that a board will accept a given record. Character and criminal history reviews, experience verification and reciprocity decisions belong to the boards. Tuition is left to the reader because no public body sets it.

Changes to come are labeled

A fee or a requirement adopted but not yet in force is shown as to come, with its date, never as the current rule. A figure we cannot trace to an official page is not published.

Independence

Radif Partners receives nothing from schools, exam vendors, staffing agencies, trucking carriers or lead buyers and links to none of them as a sponsor. There is no advertising today; if some is added it will be labeled, limited to three places a page, and never placed above a calculator.

Review and corrections

Each fee table is reread at least every 12 months, and sooner when a board announces a change. A reported error is checked against the board's page and, once fixed, moves the date shown on the page. Write through the contact page; the steps are on the method page.

Totals add the fees that each state board and its official exam and fingerprint vendors publish. School tuition is yours to enter, since no board sets it. A board can change a fee at any time; the amount on its own page wins over ours.
